Tips to ‘Find the Funny' and bring FUN into your life
At work:
- It's Spring Racing season, building uo to the Melbourne Cup, so have some fun with it. Have a dress up in style day, ladiies in hats, men in jackets, bring in some canapes, have an afternoon drink. Perhaps run your own races..be inventive.
- Workmate auction. Auction yourself off! Yes, that's right, everyone has a unique talent / skill outside of their work environment that is of value to someone else. Knowing more about co workers talents and interests is extremely bonding. it can open your eyes to that workmate that you don't really know. Offer one hour of something you're good at; home PC assistance, cooking lessons, babysitting, foreign language tuition, home decorating, sports training, sewing, handywork...all of the money bid can go towards the big end of year party with a 10/15% donation to a charity of choice.
At home:
- Yippee! It's daylight saving time again. With that extra hour up your sleeve, go out after work and enjoy the company of friends and family..Ideas? Beach ramble and fish and chips, bike ride and picnic dinner; evening swim in an ocean pool, open air cinema at venues like Centennial Park and Homebush Bay; trivia night and sausage sizzle in your backyard, catch all the great open air concerts and shows at Darling Harbour, The Rocks, Homebush.
